Joyce Marcarelli
A versatile writer in visual mediums from commercials to feature films for more than twenty years, Joyce has won awards for both her documentaries and narrative films.
Joyce’s writing has covered genres as diverse and as sweeping as Biblical epics to modern day legal dramas; from Children’s videos to raw edged contemporary documentaries. Her documentary writing has involved topics as varied as the First Century Christian Martyrs in Rome to the Twenty-First Century Victims of Modern Day Slavery in every corner of the globe.
She is currently working as a writer/editor and has completed several films in the last year, “Facing Extinction: Christians of Iraq”, which tells the story of the horrors of the persecution of the Christians of Iraq by Moslem Extremists; “Not For Sale: The Movement”, her second documentary concerning human trafficking; and “Awakening Cambodia”, a documentary which chronicles the incredible success of two missionaries in Cambodia after the Khmer Rouge genocide.
